| Scriptings#36 "Raining Cats and Dogs" by Eva Seufert, 2013
Eva Seufert is an artist living in Berlin and Athens. She studied Medicine at the University of Heidelberg and Fine Arts at the Academy of the Arts in Karlsruhe, Germany. Her work eludes classification and dissolves the boundaries of sculpture, painting, drawing, poetry and installation. She employs ephemeral and fragile materials, such as pigments, wires, wood, paper and cloth, creating tangible and linguistic associations. Her use of ambiguity, appearing in literalness, irony, joke or as a slip of the tongue make her personal lexicons resistant to given meaning, thus opposing prevailing standardization of communication.
For Scriptings#36 she has used monotype to produce an edition of 36 publications.
